Golden Wind is the gangster Part. Naples, 2001. Dio's biological son Giorno Giovanna joins the Italian mafia organisation Passione with a goal that takes the entire Part to reveal: depose the unseen boss, Diavolo, and turn Passione into something that doesn't sell drugs to teenagers. Giorno's team — Bruno Bucciarati, Mista, Trish Una, Abbacchio, Fugo and Narancia — is the saga's most distinct unit of personalities, and the Part as a whole leans the hardest into Araki's love of Italian fashion, food and architecture. The Stand fights in Part 5 are also the most mechanically dense of the series: King Crimson erasing time, Sticky Fingers zipping reality, Aerosmith locking onto breath. It's the Part fans cite for sustained atmosphere, even when the underlying plot wanders.
